Open the Book

To teach their children ... and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God.
Psalm 78:6-7

 Open the Book

is programme offered to primary school children to give them an opportunity to hear the major stories of the Bible.
The team is made up of Christians from local churches, who present a series of stories during assembly.
Each presentation takes a maximum of 10 minutes, and we use the Story Tellers Bible and encourage the children to join in, we also have a short reflection time, and end with a prayer.

The whole scheme is approved by OFSTED,
but don't let that put you off, it is a really great way to share Bible stories with the younger generations.

You do not need any great skills just a willingness to take the Bible into our schools.

Please pray for the team and that others may repond to the call to join us
